Connor D. Deverell earned his degree in economics with a minor in French. He graduated from the College of Charleston in 2009. He went on to receive his J.D., cum laude, from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2012.
Even early on in his career Mr. Deverell focused on using the law to help those in need. While studying in Perth, Australia, he assisted refugees. He helped them in obtaining residency and work visas as a volunteer with C.A.S.E. Law Firm for Refugees.
He also worked as a law clerk for Southeast Louisiana Legal Services. While there, he helped homeless veterans get public assistance and housing. While in law school, Mr. Deverell was a member of the Loyola Law Review.
During his final year, he was elected to serve on the editorial board of the journal. He authored two articles that were selected for publication. After law school, Mr. Deverell briefly worked in corporate litigation. Then, he became an associate attorney with a disability and personal injury law firm. This firm was located in Atlanta, Georgia.
He joined Pond Lehocky Giordano in 2015, and his current practice is based in New York City. Throughout his career, he has won clients their SSD benefits in more than 1,000 cases. He is a member of the American Association for Justice and has published in its journal. Mr. Deverell is a regular volunteer with the Multiple Sclerosis Society of New York.
