Thomas J. Giordano, Jr., helps run day-to-day legal operations at Pond Lehocky Giordano. He simultaneously heads the firm’s Social Security disability department. Mr. Giordano is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is also admitted before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. He is also admitted in the Northern District of Texas. He earned his undergraduate degree from Towson University in Maryland. He graduated cum laude. His degree was in communications studies. He received his law degree from Rutgers University School of Law – Camden.
Mr. Giordano currently serves on the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association Board of Directors. He is the co-chair of the SSD section of the Philadelphia Bar Association. He is the immediate past chair of the SSD Committee for the American Association for Justice.
He is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimant’s Representatives. He is also an active member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
Mr. Giordano was a member of the board of directors of the Lupus Foundation of America. This was for their Philadelphia Tri-State Chapter. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Epilepsy Foundation. This was for their Eastern Pennsylvania branch.
After law school, Mr. Giordano was an associate with a large Philadelphia defense firm. There, he represented self-insured and commercial-insured businesses in a wide variety of industries. He also represented third-party administrators throughout Pennsylvania. He was also an intern for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. This was for the Philadelphia District Office.
Under Mr. Giordano, Pond Lehocky Giordano’s SSD department has become a nationwide practice. The firm began in 2010 with only two staff members. Pond Lehocky Giordano Disability has been continuously growing. Now, they have over 100 Social Security Disability specialists nationwide, including attorneys. The department has now secured benefits for over 50,000 people. Mr. Giordano is honored to represent tens of thousands of disabled people in all 50 states.
Mr. Giordano has been invited to speak about SSD nationwide. He has given lectures about benefits for the media, disability organizations, and doctors. Mr. Giordano educates union members and employees on their rights to SSD benefits. He has been selected for the Super Lawyers® Rising Stars list every year since 2006. This is an honor only designated to 2.5 percent of Pennsylvania attorneys. He has also been on the Best Lawyers® list for 2018, 2019, and 2020. He was also selected for The National Advocates’ Top 100 Lawyers. This is an exclusive, invitation-only organization. It is composed of the top 100 attorneys from each state who serve those in need.
